LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – La Follette Mine Supply is WLAF’s business of the week. The locally owned hardware store has everything you need for those summer projects at your home or business or on the lake or construction site. Tools, parts and more can be found at La Follette Mine Supply. Currently there’s a sale on tractor hydraulic transmission fluid for $34.99, and don’t forget the Cumberland Gap water at $5 a case.

The store was started by Bill Ball in 1977 and has been serving Campbell County for more than 40 years. Bill and his wife Jackie moved to the area in 1977 from West Virginia and began the business. Over the years they expanded and diversified its inventory to meet the needs of the community. Now 90 -years- old, Bill Ball is still active in the business, along with his son Billy Ball. Family owned and operated, La Follette Mine Supply is an award winning business with regional recognition.

Bill Ball started La Follette Mine Supply in 1977 and has been serving the community for more than 40 years.

In March, the business was awarded the distinction of being a Top 100 dealer for House-Hasson Hardware. HHH services primarily hardware stores, home centers and lumber yards in 20 states in the eastern half of the United States and the Caribbean Basin.  According to Billy Ball, it’s the customers that make recognition like that possible.
