Meet Dr. Megan Hall and her yellow rubber duck.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A big smile and a yellow rubber duck on Dr. Megan Hall’s stethoscope bring smiles to patients and make getting to know the energetic pediatrician quick work. “I traded the beach for the mountains and lake, and here I am in Campbell County,” said Hall who comes from a practice at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She adds how much she enjoys seeing the mountains on her ride to Community Health of East Tennessee (CHET) each day.

Hall wants moms and dads to know that from in the door to out the door, her practice at CHET is definitely a child friendly atmosphere. “In addition to our wellness visits and preventive care, we also offer same day sick appointments. So, if your child happens to wake up sick, we can absolutely get them in the same day,” said Hall. CHET’s number to get through to Hall is 423.562.1705.

“We are excited to have her and see more people in our community,” said Penny Etter, CHET COO. Etter goes on to say that Hall is accepting new patients and can actually take care of your whole family right here at our Independence Lane offices.

Though Doc sees newborns to children18 years old, she specializes in newborn care and supporting first time moms, first time parents as well as breastfeeding support.

Up through school age, ADHD, asthma, eczema are very common things Hall sees and treats. Anxiety and depression from very young to older school children are also ailments she remedies.

“There’s no need to go out of town for quality comprehensive care. Hall offers sports physicals and acute care, too,” said Etter.

During a wellness check when Hall was not long out of school, she was asking her four-year old patient her colors knowing she should know those by this age. Table? Blue. Wall? Yellow. Object on the table? Orange. My shirt? Ugly.

Hall loves softball and has played since a young age. In addition to her love for her husband and dog, Milo, she loves to travel. She’s also learning to incorporate a “little orange” into her life along with her big smile and yellow rubber duck.
