Romney Dee Douglas, age 54, of the Christian faith, went home to be with his Savior Jesus Christ, free from all sickness and pain. He was a loving husband of 32 years, father, of daughter Olyvia. He enjoyed farming with his brother, Rodney and loved riding horses and spending time with his friends and family in the country. Romney never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew him. He was a great storyteller and loved making people laugh.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee and Alma Douglas, Virgil and Cynthia Ayers; nephew Noah Seibers; and father-in-law John Ferguson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Douglas; daughter, Olyvia Douglas; parents, Roy and Lois Ayers Douglas; brother and sister-in-law, Rodney and Judy Douglas, and their daughters, Kayleigh and Jessica; sister and brother-in-law, Chad and Jeanna Seibers, and their daughters, Ashton and Hollie.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2022, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home from 5 PM to 7 PM. Funeral service to follow at 7pm with Bro. Chad Seibers and Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. The family will meet at 10 AM, Saturday May 21, 2022 to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for an 11 AM interment.
