LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The names and faces have changed over the years, but La Follette Police were back at the same address, 306 South Indiana Avenue, executing a narcotics search warrant before 7am on Tuesday. One person inside the small, brick home was the target of raid by LPD’s Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team, Chris Wilson.

Wilson was taken into custody and is facing multiple drug charges according to LPD Detective-Sergeant Matthew Forsyth. One neighbor stated, “I sure am glad they finally got this fella.” Also arrested was Beverly Ann Paul.

The home where the raid took place on Tuesday morning sits behind the former Woodson’s Trading Post.

Aside from Wilson, seven other people were found inside the home.

LPD’s Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team had a target in this morning’s raid, Chris Wilson, and they took him into custody.

The 43-year old Wilson has been booked into the Campbell County Jail a dozen times based on jail records. Wilson lists his address as 639 Grantsboro Road, La Follette.

Wilson faces charges of the manufacture, sell, delivery of schedule II meth, tampering with evidence, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule VI. The charges levied against Paul, 41, of Jacksboro, are possession of schedule II, schedule II meth and possession of schedule VI.
