DUFF, TN (WLAF) – Deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home at 4682 North Highway 25W on Saturday afternoon.

Deputy Justin Phillips made contact with three men around 1:30pm. Among the trio was 23-year old Jared Brian Lay according to the report from the CCSO.

The deputy was advised by Central Dispatch that Lay, of 422 Shady Pine Lane, Newcomb, had two active warrants. Lay was taken into custody and transported to the Campbell County Jail. Neither of the other two men was arrested.

Lay remains housed in the county jail this morning without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 9. Based on jail records, this was the 18th time Lay has been arrested. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 05/11/2022-6AM)
