LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Teresa Hofstatter is the new branch manager for Citizens Bank in LaFollette. She brings over 28 years of banking experience to the position, with more than 17 years of that in branch management. Hofstatter filled the position vacated by Jan Ayers, who recently retired.

Hofstatter was born and raised in Campbell County in Jacksboro. She is a 1984 graduate of Campbell County High School and a 1990 graduate from Cumberland College. She said she always wanted to go into the banking industry. After high-school, she worked for six years at Wendy’s and put herself through college. She has been in the banking industry since 1994.

“I love helping customers realize their financial dreams and helping them reach those dreams,” Hofstatter said.

Hofstatter got her start in banking with First Bank of East Tennessee in Campbell County. That Bank merged with Union Planters Bank, which later merged with Regions Bank. During her time with Union Planters Bank and Regions Bank, Hofstatter garnered over 17 years of branch manager experience.  When Regions Bank closed in Campbell County, she went to work in Clinton at that Regions Bank branch.

Hofstatter came to work at Citizens Bank on October 18 of last year and said she is “so glad” to be serving customers in Campbell County once more.

“Campbell County is a great place to live and work. You get the best of both worlds with the lake and the mountains,” Hofstatter said.

She also said she wanted to say “thank you” to customers past and present, and invites them to “come by and see her anytime” at Citizens Bank. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/27/2022-6AM)
