LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Investigators with the La Follette Police Department’s Drug Unit and Special Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 316 Linden Circle early on Wednesday. The team’s target in the raid was 43-year- old Misty Albright of Garden Lane La Follette. Based on jail records, Albright has been arrested 23 times dating back almost 18 years.

Misty Albright was the target of a Wednesday morning drug raid by La Follette Police.

The other person arrested was 33-year- old Jamie Cox who lists the home that was raided as her residence.

Based on jail records, Jamie Cox was arrested for the third time on Wednesday.

Albright is facing charges of schedule II meth for resale and a capias bench warrant. For Cox, her charges are schedule II meth for resale and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

The investigation began in January following complaints from neighbors according to LPD officials. “Our undercover agents have been buying schedule II meth from Misty Albright for a couple of months,” said LPD Det. Sgt. Matthew Forsyth.

Albright and Cox remain housed in the Campbell County Jail this afternoon without bond. The pair will likely be arraigned tomorrow. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/06/2022-3PM)

    WHY???
    Isn’t being arrested 18 times enough?? What happened to 3 strikes and you’re out??? You want to know WHY people are moving and our student population is down?? Well, here you go. I’m sick of it.
