TOP PHOTO: A suspect wanted in Anderson County, driving this silver Toyota 4Runner, was pulled over Tuesday morning by Jacksboro Police.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A be on the lookout (BOLO) call for a rape suspect came into central dispatch at 1:40am today from Anderson County authorities.

Just before 2:30am, Jacksboro Police Officer Jordan Huskey spotted the BOLO vehicle, a silver Toyota 4Runner, traveling on the four-lane headed toward La Follette. Huskey made a traffic stop of the SUV in the parking lot of Peoples Bank of the South mall branch.

It was quite an active hour or so for local law enforcement on Tuesday morning beginning just after 1:30am.

The 24-year- old suspect from Rocky Top was taken away from the scene by Anderson County deputies. Aside from JPD and the ACSO, officers from La Follette Police, deputies with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office and a Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper also assisted.
