JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – As fifth graders, Garrett Medley and Morgan Gray became fast friends as teammates for the La Follette Middle School Golf Team. “We became close friends in 6th grade even though she was at LMS while I was at Jacksboro Middle School. She’s a great friend,” said Medley.

“She is the most positive person (golfer). She never gets upset or shows aggression,” said Medley. “Morgan is always checking on me after my matches. Maryville College is so lucky,” he said. Morgan signed to play golf with MC on Wednesday.

Medley said regardless of how her play was, she was always positive about her next match. “During the off season, she practices more than anyone,” he said.

“This opportunity at Maryville College is so well deserved. I’m so happy for my friend,” said Medley. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/04/2022-6AM)
