LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – On a cool first Saturday evening in April, the LA Cruizers Car Club had its first cruize-in for 2022 on North Tennessee Avenue. Long before the 6pm starting time, many of the members were already finding a parking place and doing their meet and greet with other club members. Esco and Penny Raines brought their 1956 Chevy that they built from the ground up. When the bought the car in 2009, it was literally in boxes. “The deal also included a mouse that came in a box along with the car parts,” said Penny.
Scotty Hatfield climbed down from his 1985 Chevy that he built up himself.
Gary Zink cleaned up his 1955 Chevy Belair Nomad he’s had since December 23, 2021, and came out for the first 2022 cruize-in.
