LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two units pulled out from the City of La Follette Fire Department’s Station Number 1 just before noon today on their way to Sevier County.

The City of La Follette is deploying a brush truck, and the Campbell County Rural Fire Service is driving a tanker over to support the Wears Valley Fire Department as WVFD leads the charge in battling a 3,000+ acre wildfire.

This effort is all a part of working with the Tennessee state mutual aid group. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/31/2022-1PM)
