LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Thursday morning at 11:43, a woman riding a bicycle was struck by a compact car. The car drove away and returned to the scene about five minutes later according to officials.

The accident happened where Towe String Road meets the four lane on the CVS side of the big highway.

The victim was transported by the Campbell County EMS to the Tommy C. Stiner Airfield. She’s expected to be flown by a medical helicopter to a Knoxville hospital. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/31/2022-12:15PM)
