JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – There was a grinding head on collision on Pinecrest Road Thursday night at 11pm. On a road that has more than its share of curves, it was in a curve where two cars collided about four miles from the Towe String Road turn off. That was at 1949 Pinecrest Road.

One official states that two of the victims suffered multiple fractures and were transported by Campbell County EMS to the Campbell County Airport. From Colonel Tommy C. Stiner Airfield both patients were airlifted by two medical helicopters to a Knoxville hospital.

This older model car and the newer model car below collided on Pinecrest Road.

Investigators with the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the accident. The Campbell County Rural Fire Service also responded. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/25/2022-3AM)
