JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – CASA of Campbell County is launching its White Ribbon campaign to raise awareness and funds. Awareness Bows will be available for purchase to display at local businesses and organizations.

“April is just around the corner and in honor of National Child Abuse Awareness month, as well as National Volunteer month we will launch our White Ribbon Campaign,” said CASA Director Jan Jones.

According to Jones, both awareness campaigns “embody the spirit of what our organization is all about – volunteers advocating for the abused and neglected children in our county.”

The color white was chosen to represent the innocence of a child.

“All to often we find the voices of these children get muted when they make their way into the court system. CASA of Campbell County is devoted to giving these children a voice,” Jones said.

Bows will be available to purchase for $12 each or two for $20 and displayed at area businesses and organizations during the month of April. They will be available by contacting the CASA office at 423-562-2700 or emailing director@casaofcampbellcounty.org. Payment may be made in the form of cash or check payable to CASA of Campbell County when bows are delivered.
