LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A late night traffic stop on Glade Springs Road resulted in the arrest of a Rocky Top man for the 21st time here in Campbell County.

Forty-three year old Donald Lee Helton of Andys Ridge Road was arrested not long before midnight on Thursday by Campbell County Sheriff’s Deptuty Dakota Williams. Helton was charged with driving while revoked, 4th offense, resist-stop-frisk-halt-search, criminal impersonation, financial responsibility and a hold for Anderson County.

Helton remains housed in the Campbell County Jail this morning without bond and will appear in court on March 29 according to jail records. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/22/2022-6AM)
