Wlaf1450Edward Samuel (Sammy) Brim, age 63, of LaFollette passed away on March 15, 2022, in the home of his friends. Member of Forge Ridge Baptist Church, Harrogate TN. “Sam” was born in Dayton Ohio to the late Buster and Geneva Brim of Middlesboro, KY. Member of the Kentucky Army National Guard for 8 years. Sam had a love for everyone. He was the type of person you could never forget; he wouldn’t let you. He was always willing to help where needed. He never met a stranger.
Preceded in death by his parents Geneva Brim and Buster Brim, brother Charles (Dee) Brim, sisters: Lucy Gent, Joann Marlow and Susan North.
Survived by one son Brian Brim, Pineville KY, two step-sons Allen Hoskins, Pineville KY and Michael and Courtney Hoskins of Pineville KY, two granddaughters Adrianna (Terry) Cox LaFollette TN, Alexis (Gangesh) Dimri Bargersville, IN, very special and beautiful to Sam’s heart was his great granddaughter Amila Dimri, bonus grandchildren Abigayle Horn and Noah Horn, one brother Bill Brim Harrogate, TN, two sisters Hazel (Jake) Abbott Middlesboro KY and Donna Morrison of Middlesboro KY
Sam Left a host of nieces and nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, two he would say were special to him Krystal Kimble his traveling buddy and Terri Lynn he would visit in Oklahoma.
Family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2022, 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service 7:00 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Josh Hurst officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM Saturday at Mills Cemetery in Pineville KY for Interment.
