LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Wednesday’s weather gradually improves ahead of days of sun and 60s on Thursday and Friday. That’s before nature reminds us it’s still winter come Friday night.

A strong cold front will bring much colder air and some snow to Campbell County and the region late Friday night and Saturday. Snow accumulations are expected by Saturday morning in some areas especially northern sections and higher elevations of Campbell County, but it is too soon to determine amounts. Wind chills Saturday morning into Saturday night will be in the teens or colder across much of the area.

Friday night’s low dips to 25 with Saturday’s high only making it to 29 degrees. A low of 13 looms for Saturday night before temps begin moderating on Sunday. The averages for this time of year are 57 for a high and 36 for a low. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/09/2022-6AM)
