Rita Weaver, age 61, of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022.  She loved a fresh cup of coffee with family while making them laugh.  Her grandkids were always her heart, and she enjoyed gardening, being outdoors in the sunshine and was always ready for an adventure. She was preceded in death by Son: Jason Weaver, Parents: Jack and Leona King Douglas, Brothers: Freddy and Nathan Douglas, Sister: Jackie Baird

Survived by:

Daughters: April and Michael Ellison, Teresa Weaver

Grandchildren: Kaleb, Jordan, William, Kaylee, Anthony, Jarod, Alex, Jazmin, Landen and Makenzie

Brothers: Ernie, Frank, Issac, Carl and Wade Douglas

Sisters: Charlotte Willoughby, Betsy Smith, Sharon Wishoun and Debbie Daniels

Several Nieces and Nephews

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Israel Douglas officiating, with Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery.
