Wlaf1450Mrs. Lisa Rose (Denton) Stieman, age 57, of Newport, TN passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, surrounded by her family. Lisa was born in Chicago, IL on the 17th of May 1964. She is preceded in death by her only daughter, Alexis.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Stieman; her parents, Gail Denton and Ronald Fletcher; her brother Dan (Beth) Denton; her sons, Terry (Ashley) Schaefer, Michael Schaefer, and Ryan Stieman. Lisa was a grandmother to Keely, Charlie, Lucas, Jacob, Sadie, Axel, Collin and Corbin, and an aunt to Trudy, Jason, and Gail.
Though her life was all too brief, she lived every moment of it. She was always there for her children – a sporting event was never missed and visiting family was a must. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing scrabble, drinking coffee, and talking – she wasn’t afraid to strike up a conversation with a stranger, or to share her own life experiences. In that way, she was a source of knowledge and wisdom beyond her years. She will be dearly missed by many.
There will be no services held for Lisa. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider donating to their favorite charity in Lisa’s name.
