JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The Campbell Lady Cougars ran roughshod over the West Lady Rebels in the two regular season district meetings; 57-12 at Knoxville and 59 to 36 on Brown Court. However, tonight, that doesn’t mean a thing, because both teams have a clean slate on opening day of the District 3-AAAA basketball tournament hosted by Campbell High. Listen to the game HERE live beginning at 7:30pm.
The Lady Cougars are 17 & 9 while West is winless through 21 games. The winner earns a trip to the regional tournament and advances to the district semi-finals on Friday at 7:30pm against Powell. The losing team’s season comes to an end. Central and Karns play in the other game beginning at 6pm.
