This home on Smith Lane at Caryville caught fire around 2am Saturday.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – Caryville Fire Chief Eddie Hatmaker and members of the Caryville Volunteer Fire Department answered the call of a house fire at 2am Saturday morning. Assistance from the Jacksboro Fire Department soon followed.

A home on Smith Lane, just off Bruce Gap Road, was fully involved when firefighters arrived. Hatmaker deems the structure a total loss.

Firefighters battled this house fire on Smith Lane for three hours.
