JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Winning on Senior Night was a fitting tribute to not only Campbell’s senior basketball players but also to the other sports seniors; dance, cheer, JROTC, soccer, baseball, softball, track and field who were recognized between the Campbell-Union girls and boys games Tuesday night on Brown Court. Watch the games and the Senior Night ceremony right HERE on demand from WLAF.

The Lady Cougars rang up a 61 to 21 victory over the Lady Patriots of Union with senior Cora Browning and freshman and Carley Kitts handling half the points with 21 and 10 respectively. In all, nine Lady Cougars posted points with six coming from Emma Brandenburg, five each from Saylor Hutcheson and Lacey Pemberton, while Bailey Gillum and Bella Lester chipped in three each. Rachael Cowan and Alexis Morris had two points a piece.

Campbell is 17 & 7 after its win over Union and will next play on Thursday evening at Log Mountain, Kentucky, against the Lady Bobcats of Bell County High School. WLAF will send you the radio only coverage over www.1450wlaf.com.

Three Cougar seniors put up double-figure points in Campbell’s 81-65 win. Zac Brady’s 24 along with 17 from Nate Walden and Spencer Boshears’ 13 provided 54 of Campbell’s total points. Devon Jones finished with nine while John Long scored six as five points came from David Adkins. Bryson Horton and Jack Leach tallied three points a piece with one coming from Jordan Day.

Campbell’s Cougars improve to 13 & 11 with at least one more game to go in the regular season. Friday night is when Campbell faces the Grainger Grizzlies at Rutledge. All the coverage over WLAF begins at 6pm with the Lady Cougars game.
