One person was injured when this truck hit this house just before 12:00pm Wednesday.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – One person was flown to a Knoxville hospital via a med chopper after being injured in a truck versus house wreck in the Davis Chapel community.

Witnesses told WLAF that one vehicle was pulling the small Ford pick-up truck with a chain when the chain broke, and the pick-up veered off Magnolia Lane, started rolling down a hill, glanced off a telephone pole and then down a steep embankment coming to a rest partially inside a home. The elderly female driver was injured and transported to the La Follette Medical Center Helipad where the victim met up with the med chopper.

First Responders with the Campbell County EMS tend to the injured driver of this truck.

No other injuries were reported in the accident that happened just before noon.

Multiple agencies responded to this Wednesday morning wreck.

Campbell County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brandon Gross was the first agency to respond followed by the Campbell County EMS, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Campbell County Rural Fire Service. Two units with the CCRFS were on scene along with four THP cruisers. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 02/02/2022-12:30PM)
