Judy Ann Nelson, age 75 of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at U.T. Medical Center. She was born on August 28, 1946 to the late Goldie and Ruth (Bruce) Chapman. Judy retired from First National Bank, and she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, cooking, fishing, and traveling the state parks.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Earl Dean, Steven, and Clyde Chapman; sisters Geraldine Tatum, Sylvia Carter, and Dorothy Hensler.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Joe Nelson of Jacksboro; son Joey Nelson of Jacksboro; daughter Alicia Harmon and husband Andrew of Jacksboro; brother Leslie Lee Chapman of Germany; sisters Deola Swenney of LaFollette and Brenda Prewitt of Speedwell; grandchildren Cash and Adi Harmon; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, February 6, 2020 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Campbell Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM graveside service.
