LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – It is with great excitement that I, Zachary Marlow announce that I will be seeking Re-Election for 1st District County Commissioner on August 4th! Over the last three and half years as your County Commissioner, I have led multiple initiatives on the County Commission to increase efficiency and improve the infrastructure of the 1st District. If re-elected I plan to continue building upon the work that I have already done to improve the 1st District.

Four years ago, I started my campaign for County Commissioner because I wanted to make a difference in my community, and I felt like with my knowledge and experience I could be of the best service on the County Commission. Having spent the last several months thinking and praying on the prospect of running for re-election and knowing that I still want to continue making a difference, I still feel that I can be of best service to the 1st District as your Commissioner.

Throughout my tenure as your County Commissioner, the Commission has placed a major emphasis on infrastructure–from waterline extensions to internet availability, and road improvements. Since the summer of 2020, I have had the privilege of serving as Chairman of the Infrastructure Committee which has been tasked with ensuring that stimulus funds are allocated strategically and efficiently. While the current Infrastructure needs of the 1st District and all of Campbell County are significant, great headway has been made by the County Commission in both evaluating and meeting those needs. It is my desire to continue serving as your Commissioner to ensure that the County Commission continues to make advancements in improving the 1st District.

Our county has faced multiple challenges over the last four years, but despite those obstacles, I believe that our county is resilient. I am very passionate about the 1st District from Well Springs to Pinecrest and that is why I am seeking Re-Election. I would greatly appreciate your vote!!!
