Chief Wayne Gregg, age 70 of LaFollette passed away Monday, January 31, 2022.  Chief Gregg faithfully served the City of LaFollette Fire Department for 36 years until his retirement.  During his time serving as Chief, the Department saw many improvements, including the construction of LaFollette Fire Station #2, and with his assistance, the completion of LaFollette Fire Station #3.  He was a Member of Trinity Baptist Church, and was a Member of Jacksboro Masonic Lodge #322, F.&A.M.  Preceded in death by Mother, Martha Raines Gregg, Brothers, Jim McGill, Lloyd McGill, and Lige Gregg.

Survivors:  Wife of 54 years, Judy Greer Gregg; Children, Jeff Gregg, Tina Baird and husband, Kevin, and Derrick Gregg and wife, Carla; 6 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Granddaughter; Sister, Jane Powell.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends. 

Masonic Rites will be presented by Jacksboro Masonic Lodge#322 on Thursday, February 3, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.   A Memorial Service will immediately follow with Rev. Chris Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday before services.  The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Campbell County Cancer Association, P. O.
