LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – With a packed agenda, the LaFollette Regional Planning Commission met Thursday afternoon.

Terry Miller asked to combine his two lots in the Oak Hill subdivision in order to build his house. The motion was approved.

A piece of city property located at South 9th, Elm Street and Chestnut Street might be abandoned by the city. Surrounding landowners will have an opportunity to add to their own parcels if interested.

Steve Grimm requested to add two new storage units to his property on Brantley Lane. The motion passed.

Ashley Moore had a home occupation request. Moore plans to run a photography business located on North 17th street. There will be no in-home studio, outside signage or foot traffic. The request was approved.

Another in-home occupation request was from David Mullins.  Mullins application was for firearm repairs and accessories. He has applied for his FFL license. He plans to have no storefront or keep inventory at his location on North 7th street. The motion was approved.

Lastly, Larry Wagner returned for another request on a set back for his property on Loop road. His original request was in October 2021. The variance request will allow a 15.2 foot set back in the front yard. The side and back setback are already conforming. The set back was approved. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/28/2022-6AM)
