LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – WLAF is honoring three outstanding educators this week including Wanda Snodgrass, Tim Byrge and Melissa Davis. All three were announced as “District Teachers of the Year” by the Campbell County School System last week. These teachers represent the district at the elementary, middle and high school levels. 

Jacksboro Elementary’s Melissa Davis was chosen as the elementary representative. Jacksboro Middle School teacher Tim Byrge was chosen as the middle school representative and Wanda Snodgrass at CCHS was chosen as the high school representative. These three teachers were selected by their peers at the school level. At the district level, these teachers were chosen by a committee of administrators after a short application process. 

Generally every Thursday, WLAF’s Charlotte Underwood features the WLAF – Eagle Tire Pros teacher of the week except for this week. Today, all three teachers of the year are featured and each will receive a free oil change from Eagle Tire Pros.
