Mr. Verlin Bolton, age 84 of the Stinking Creek Community passed away Monday, January 17, 2022.  He was of the Baptist Faith, and was a former coal miner and logger.  Verlin enjoyed working in his garden and farming.  Preceded in death by Parents, James and Mary Bolton, Brother, Vennis Bolton, and an Infant Brother.

Survivors:  Wife of 39 years, Phyllis Bolton; Children, Verlin Lee Bolton, Lester Bolton and wife, Sherry, Leslie Tracy Bolton and wife, Tonya, Marie Richardson, Delores King, Albert Lawson, and Grandson raised as a Son, Daniel Carpenter; 13 Grandchildren, Numerous Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren; Siblings, William (Bill) Bolton, Floyd (Ted) Bolton, and Sophie (Ann) Bolton, and Lue Jean Hodges.  Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives, and friends. 

Funeral Services Thursday, January 20, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Son, Rev. Lester Bolton and Grandson, Rev. Joseph Bolton officiating.  Interment to follow at Hall Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. Thursday before funeral services.
