La Follette Street Dept. crews dealing with downed trees

The La Follette bound side of the four lane close to Hunters Branch Road was temporarily blocked around midnight after a tree fell.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – “We’ve not had any trouble with slick spots. However, we’ve had some trees fall and several limbs from the wind,” said Casey Boshears, Director of Public Works for the City of La Follette.

A large downed tree landed on the east bound lanes of the four lane close to the Hunters Branch Road turnoff.

Boshears goes on to say that a tree fell last night around midnight and had both eastbound lanes blocked on the four-lane just east of Hunters Branch Road. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/03/2022-9AM)
