LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Road crews with the Campbell County Highway Department have been out since snow started falling not long after midnight. “What I’ve seen right now is that we have just a few spots (of snow/ice) scattered through the county, and it’s mainly in the higher elevations,” said Campbell County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck. Otherwise, the county’s roads are in pretty good shape.

“I’m running a plow right now on Stinking Creek Road, and I’ve had to scrape a few places up close to the interstate. I’ve gotten some tree limbs out of the road,” added Dilbeck. It’s mostly dead tree limbs that are coming down in a few locations, he said. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 01/03/2022-6AM)
