Claude Brown Jr. age 71 of LaFollette

Claude Brown Jr. age 71 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on January 1^st 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 19^th 1950 to the late Claude and Arletta Leach Brown. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son, and former owner of Brown’s Welding. His second love, spending time with his family, fishing, and traveling. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Krista, brother Charles Brown, Sisters Barbara (Rudbal), Oneida Baker, Juanita Barnes, Sally Jones, and Bonnie Hubbard.

He is survived by:

His loving wife of 53 years Mary (Prim) Brown

Daughter: Brenda (Paul) Meadows

Son: Jerry Brown and special friend Tracie Ward and family

Grandchildren: Colby, Ethan, and Logan Brown. Amber (Jonathan) Shoupe, Matthew (Jonica) Meadows, Edward (Cassie) Meadows, Jason Meadows, Bridget Meadows.

Brother: Cletus Brown of Monroe, MI

And a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.

Family will receive friends 5-7PM Sunday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with Funeral Services following at 7PM with Rev. Alvis Richardson officiating. Family will meet 10AM Monday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Leach Cemetery of Speedwell for interment services.
