LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – Eagle Scout Stewart Thacker shares a letter of appreciation to all those who had a hand in helping the foster children of Campbell County enjoy Christmas.

Hello Everyone,

This past Saturday, Boy Scout Troop Troop 310 gave out care packages and gifts to foster children of Campbell County. I would first like to say thank you to Campbell County for the generous support to Troop 310 and the Pellissippi Lodge over the past month and a half. Pellissippi Lodge managed to collect the items for the needed care packages and have extras for future foster care children. Troop 310 managed to get a hold of the gifts for the children as well. Thanks to this amazing community, the foster children ended up with a good Christmas this year.

Thank you to Camelot Care Centers, Susan Sharp, and Nancy Morton-Bright for giving Troop 310 and Pellissippi Lodge a chance to assist the community once more. “We will continue to help the community the best we can in any ways we can,” said Thacker.

Also, a special Thanks goes to the following:

  • Caryville First Baptist Church
  • Faye Harness Circle
  • Kathy Arnold
  • Cedar Hill Baptist Church
  • Mamas Kitchen
  • Issacs 24/7 Gym

On behalf of Troop 310 and Pellissippi Lodge stay safe, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas!

-Stewart Thacker
