Hugh Linard Boshears, age 95 of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Ben Atchley Veterans Home. He was born on February 22, 1926 to the late Brown and Bertha (Gross) Boshears. He was a member of Woodlake Baptist Church. Hugh enjoyed farming, horseback riding, and he was an army veteran who served his country proudly during WWII.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Harold Boshears, Wheeler Boshears, Eldon Boshears, Cal Boshears, and Wade Boshears, and sisters Opal Phillips, Lilly Kidwell, and Mary Hannah Riggs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years Frankie Boshears of Jacksboro; sons Don Boshears and wife Gail of Jacksboro and Garvon Boshears of Clinton; daughters Carolyn and husband Dave of Chicago and Pat Tidwell of Jacksboro; brother Morton Boshears and wife Olla Mae of Virgina; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. George Asbury officiating. Family and friends will meet on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Mt. Paran Cemetery for a 10:00 AM interment with military honors being presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
