LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The emptiness of not knowing what happened to Adam Baird weighs on his family, and that weight is even heavier on Christmas week. With no credible leads, the coldness of the missing person case on Baird grows even colder going on three years next March. Those with information of Baird’s disappearance remain mum despite a $4,000 reward offered by his family.

Baird’s 36th birthday as well as Thanksgiving have come and gone another year. “He was always so funny and loved watching his babies open their gifts and eating mom’s good cooking,” said Baird’s sister Belinda Powell.

An intensive man hunt on foot, wheels and from the air turned up nothing on Baird in 2019.

Powell recalls when their mom and dad gave her and Adam new bikes for Christmas; one of her fondest memories. “We raced around the yard in the snow and just laughed and laughed,” said Powell.

“I just wish we knew where he is and what happened to him so we could have closure,” added Powell. She goes on to say “I am about to cry just thinking about it. I would give anything to have him home and tell him how much I love him. Anyone out there, please don’t take for granted your family and loved ones. Hug and tell them often how much you love them.”

  1. I know that pain of losing a child, but I can’t imagine not knowing what happened to him. I pray for his family and especially his mother. I hope someday she finds out what happened to her baby boy.

  2. I can’t imagine how hard that would be. Prayers for you and your family. Praying you get answers.
