Truck wrecks into power pole and catches fire three-hours later

PINECREST, TN (WLAF) – Late Wednesday afternoon, the call of a vehicle hitting a utility pole, with an injured driver and power lines down, came in to Central Dispatch. First Repsonders went to Crestview Lane off Landmark Road.

Around 7:30pm Wednesday night, crews from the Campbell County Rural Fire Service were dispatched to Crestview Lane for a report of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival crews found one pick-up truck fully involved along with a small shed and the woods on fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and kept it from spreading to the nearby home.
