JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Charley’s Pizza in Jacksboro is WLAF’s business of the week. The pizzeria has been serving up local favorites for over 45 years. Started by Charley Baird in 1976, Charley’s was purchased from Baird by long time employee Jerry Partin in 2008. Partin has been at Charley’s for more than 40 years.

A Campbell County dining fixture, Charley’s not only has the good food that its customers have come to depend on and know, but also a family atmosphere that’s hard to beat.

Charley’s Pizza is where to always pick up a Campbell football or basketball schedule. Jerry Partin (right) has been with Charley’s for 40 years.

“We believe in serving people like they are family, because after we’ve been here all these years, that’s what our customers are to us,” Partin said. He also said he wanted to thank all of his customers for their support.

Charley’s Pizza offers a wide variety of selections of pizza and other Italian cuisine.

Charley’s is located at 103 Cumberland Lane in Jacksboro. For more information or to place orders, call 423.562.0116. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/03/2021-6AM)

  1. Bill Ayers and Goat Baird started the business together in 1976 in the building that houses Woodlake Baptist Church on Myers Street in Jacksboro. They moved down the street a bit to the building that Caryville/Jacksboro Utilities has offices in before moving to its present location. My sister and I lived in same apartment building on Myers Street where Bill and Goat lived. We ate a lot of pizza to say the least. I use to go help Bill clean up after they closed. Tragically, Bill died in a house fire on December 14, 1978. It was years and years before I could go back to Charley’s Pizza.
