JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Tonight marks the home opener for Campbell High Basketball.  Oneida comes to town to take on the Cougars and Lady Cougars in a triple header beginning with the Lady Cougars Junior Varsity game at 4:30pm (THE JV GAME IS CANCELED).  Watch the games televised live over the WLAF-Lindsay’s Carpet & Paint Center video player.

Senior Nate Walden will be honored following the Lady Cougars Varsity game (about 7:30pm) for his 1,000 career points milestone. Walden’s grandfather, the late Jerry Walden, was the Tennessee state scoring leader his senior season, 1971-72, at Wynn High School. The elder Walden likely scored close to a thousand points that year alone.

The Lady Cougar JVs play their first game of the season while the Lady Cougars are 3 & 0 entering this non-district game with the Lady Indians.  The Cougars, 1 & 2, play the night cap against Oneida.  This is the third game in four days for CCHS.

Josh Parker, Voice of the Cougars, will be behind the mic with all the fun over the WLAF – Doyle’s Tire Shop Sports Network over AM 1450 and FM 100.9 with the telecast on WLAF-TV 12 as well as 1450wlaf.com, Facebook, YouTube, RokuTV and Amazon Firestick.
