Mr. Michael R. Grant, affectionately known as “Paw”, age 74 of LaFollette passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021.  He was retired from General Motors and served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam Era in artillery.  Michael loved golfing, camping, fishing, bowling, watching, and feeding birds.  Preceded in death by Parents, Ed and Norma Jean Dixon Grant. 

Survivors:  Wife, Gloria Keith Grant; Children, Charlene Grant, Susan Grant, and Tim Grant and wife, Heidi; Grandchildren, Stephanie and fiance’, Matt, Aubrey, Katelynn, Alexia, and Bailie; Great-Grandson, Vance; and Granddog, Bessie.  Several other relatives and friends.    

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Graveside Services and Interment Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 12:30 P.M. at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Highway, Knoxville, TN with full military honors provided by East TN Veterans Honor Guard.
