CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – A violation of probation from criminal court arrest is keeping Hollie Ann Minton in jail until her court appearance later this month. However, it was the report of a stolen car that prompted her 25th arrest, according to jail records.

On Sunday morning around 11:30am, Campbell County Sheriff’s Sergeant Brandon Gross was advised to be on the lookout for a maroon Chevrolet Impala reported stolen out of La Follette. Less than a half-hour later, Gross caught a glimpse of the Impala traveling toward Jacksboro on the four lane at Ridge Road near the south Cove Lake Bridge. The sergeant soon pulled the Chevy over.

Gross talked with the woman who was driving the car, Hollie Ann Minton, 25, of Duff. Assisting Deputy Justin Phillips ran Minton’s driver’s license learning that it was revoked all the while discovering that Minton had a warrant for her arrest. Her warrant was active out of criminal court based on court records. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/23/2021-6AM)
