JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Kevin Potter was a wanted man even before his latest arrest, his 25th, based on jail records. On Friday morning, Campbell County Sheriff’s Deputy Justin Phillips answered the call of a fight at a home at 243 Thelma Circle.

Just before 9:30am, the deputy made contact with a white male identified as Kevin Kurtis Potter. According to the report from the sheriff’s office, Potter told Deputy Phillips that he was there to get belongings from his girlfriend. It was also noted that there had not been an assault only a verbal argument between the homeowner and Potter.

Phillips was alerted by Central Dispatch that Potter had a warrant against him for a theft of property over $1,000 out of La Follette. Potter was placed under arrest and transported to the Campbell County Jail.

Potter remains housed in the county jail this morning without bond. He’s due in court on Tue., Nov. 30. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/23/2021-6AM)
