JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – A wanted man is in custody this morning awaiting arraignment after being tracked to a home in Anderson County on Monday.

Nineteen- year- old Alexander Foye of Heiskell had been on the run for days until yesterday.  Foye is a suspect in an October shooting into an occupied home at Jacksboro, according to Jacksboro Police Chief Jeremy Goins. “He was wanted on five counts of felony reckless endangerment and five counts of aggravated assault,” said the chief.

Alexander Foye, who had been considered armed and dangerous was transported to the Campbell County Jail by the Jacksboro Police Department where he remains without bond.

Combined efforts of Jacksboro Police, the US Marshall Service, Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the 7th Judicial District Crime Task Force netted Foye Monday afternoon in Anderson County. Officers tracked Foye to a home at Lake City and placed him under arrest.

Over the past several days, these agencies collaborated in efforts to obtain Foye and place him into custody. Information obtained by the US Marshal Service led them to a home, off of old Lake City Highway, where Foye was placed under arrest without incident.
