JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Veterans Day was observed all across our country, and that included Campbell County. A good sized group gathered, including right at 50 veterans, on the courthouse lawn Thursday morning to honor, remember and celebrate our veterans and veterans everywhere.

(Retired) U.S. Army Lt. Col. Logan Hickman delivered the keynote address.
The Roberts Sisters, Ayiana (left) and Anaia (right), sang the National Anthem and other songs.

Smiles and greetings were all around on Veterans Day at Jacksboro.
From Marines to the Coast Guard, branches of the military were on display.

HOW I LOVED LOOKING AT ALL THE VETERANS TOGETHER….I PRAY A SPECIAL PRAYER FOR EACH ONE WHO SERVED AMERICA…THEY DID A SHINING EXAMPLE OF GIVING OF THEMSELVES….I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO BE THERE, BUT BAD SICKNESS HAS OVERTAKEN ME THIS WEEK…CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS VETERAN’S DAY CEREMONY POSSIBLE…
