MEMPHIS, TN (WLAF) – Two years ago, Campbell County Commissioner Rusty Orick was chosen as the president-elect for the Tennessee County Commissioners Association (TCCA). With the pandemic, there was basically a year off of meetings delaying Orick’s swearing in as president of the TCCA. He was sworn in last week for the 2021-2022 term.

This is the first time a Campbell County Commissioner has been elected to this position. Orick said he was “honored that his peers chose him to be nominated.”

Orick served eight year as the treasurer for the association. His first official meeting as president will take place in March at the state capitol.

“I’m proud to hold the position; It will give Campbell County more of a say so in the meetings, but we all still have to look out for the organization as a whole,” Orick said. Related story. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/08/2021-6AM)
