LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Boy Scout Troop 310 hosted its annual “Celebrate Our Veterans Flag Retirement” ceremony at the Food City parking lot on Saturday.

The event will ran from noon until 4pm.

Boy Scout Troop 310 hosted its annual “Celebrate Our Veterans Flag Retirement” ceremony at the Food City parking lot on Saturday.

“Folks came by with their worn flags to have them honored properly. Cotton and wool flags were retired with honor, and nylon and polyester flags will be recycled into new flags,” said Scoutmaster Chris Thacker, BSA Troop 310 Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
