LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – There was no shortage of fire and smoke when a south La Follette home caught fire late Friday morning.

Firefighters heated up quickly on this cool day as they fought the fire.

“This was a massive fire, and luckily, no one was injured,” said La Follette Fire Chief Jimmy Pack. The home sits in the 100 block of East Kentucky Avenue in the Linden Park area of town.

The home suffered extensive damage from the fire.

La Follette Firefighters were on scene literally in seconds. The house is just up the street from Fire Station Number 1.
