JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Cora Browning carries on a family tradition this morning when she signs to play college basketball at Milligan College.

The Campbell Lady Cougar senior will officially sign scholarship papers at 11:30am Tuesday in the Campbell High library.

Browning’s mother, Jill Cox-Browning, led Campbell to its first state tournament appearance in her senior season and played college basketball at the University of the Cumberlands.

Milligan College is located at Elizabethton, and the Buffaloes play in the Appalachian Athletic Conference. Some of the teams Browning and Milligan face in the AAC are Union of Kentucky, Tennessee Wesleyan and Bryan Colleges. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/19/2021-6AM)
