JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – Boxes are being unpacked, equipment is going into place and Dr. Timothee Gansore is settling in at his new dental office in the Longmire Realty and Auction building on Main Street at Jacksboro. Dr. Gansore’s Horizon Dental and Cosmetics opens on Friday.
Exclusively on Friday (Oct. 15), Dr. Gansore is offering 50 percent off exams, X-rays and extractions.
“I feel right at home here,” said Dr. Gansore, D.D.S.. He grew up in a small town in West Virginia, Robson, and considers Campbell County much like his native mountain community.
The personable 40-year -old explained that he was accepted to both medical school and dental school and just wasn’t sure how to decide which path to take. “Once West Virginia University offered me a full scholarship to its school of dentistry, my toughest decision was made quite quickly,” said Gansore.
He’s practiced the last several years in Oneida and recently made the move to Jacksboro. “I had quite a few patients from Campbell County come to me in Oneida,” he said.
A couple of services Gansore offers include extractions and same day dentures. “Many times if someone needs an extraction, they’re referred to a specialist, and since we offer that service here, we can save the patient money and a trip,” said Gansore.
Gansore’s same day dentures procedure offers patients the opportunity to come in, have the needed extractions made, impressions taken and dentures created. “A person can walk out with new teeth and not have to go around without teeth until their dentures are made,” he said.
Horizon Dental Cosmetics accepts cash, insurance and Care Credit. “We have an in-house membership that allows patients to pay $37 a month and receive select services for a year,” Gansore pointed out. The membership includes two cleanings, the needed X-rays, one emergency appointment, two oral cancer screenings along with a gum disease screening, according to Gansore. Patients with an in-house membership are allowed a 25 percent discount on teeth whitening and 15 percent off other services.
The list of services provided by Horizon Dental Cosmetics is lengthy. “We offer cleanings, exams, emergency treatments, economy and premium dentures, same day dentures, extractions, teeth whitening, sport guards, night guards, veneers, onlays, crowns and more,” said Gansore.
Gansore is in the office everyday, Monday through Friday. Office hours are from 8am until 4pm, and Horizon Dental Cosmetics is located at 1138 Main Street at Jacksboro.
