Hurle (Smitty) Smith, age 90, of LaFollette passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. Preceded in death by parents: Hodge and Rosie Stanifer Smith, brother: Hoyle Smith, mother of his children: Evelyn Caskey. He was of the Baptist Faith and saved during a tent revival at Flat Hollow. He retired from Oxford Paper Co. and loved baseball, nascar and fishing.

Son: Danny and Gail Smith

Sisters: Cleo Richardson, Violet Dyke, Ruth Salyers

Brother: Earlie Smith

9 Grandchildren, several Great and Great-Great grandchildren

Family will receive friends 5-7 PM Sunday Cross-Smith Funeral Home with service at 7 PM Cross-Smith Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Poston officiating. Family and friends will meet 10 AM Monday at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Green Cemetery in Flat Hollow for 11 AM Interment.
