LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – It wasn’t quite the gala originally planned. However, with the support and cooperation of all the sponsors, staff members, volunteers and the community, the annual fall fundraiser for the Campbell County Children’s Center was a success on Tuesday evening at the Ball Farm Event Center and live over WLAF.

“I think it went well. Unfortunately it was not in person. Though I count it a success,” said Executive Director Tracie Davis. She went on to say that the sponsors were so willing to work with us even after the original plan did not workout. “I want to thank all the sponsors, especially our gold and silver donors, as well as our staff, board of directors and all the volunteers,” Davis said.

Auctioneer Billy Ball, even with help from his four-year old son, Brody, made quick work in selling some 20 auction items that were on the block last night. Proceeds from the Campbell County Children Center’s Ball Farm Virtual Fundraiser benefit the center and the work it does in helping the children of Campbell County.
